Ruth Lived in Impossible
Impossible is a place. It is a place that is entered for many different reasons. At times it is entered for grand challenges that seem beyond human capability. At other times the impossible is entered for the most mundane and ordinary events of life. But common along the entire spectrum of human experience is the overarching truth that without a divine intervention the impossible can be ultimately destructive.
The Bible records the life of a young, non-Jewish woman who is thrown into an impossible situation through no fault of her own. How she survives her impossible plight is a prototype for the way in which Christians are to be victorious regardless of the impossibility they face. What begins as absolute tragedy ends in one of the great stories of living in impossible and finding the miraculous.
