Dr. Richard and Marilyn Hogue started Citychurch in the early 1990s as a multi-racial, multi-ethnic, multi-cultural congregation committed to teaching the present reign of Jesus Christ as King of kings and power of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer.
Dr. Hogue recently received his doctorate of ministries degree from Oral Roberts University. He also holds a masters in theologial study from Harvard and a bachelors degree from the University of Oklahoma.
Pastor Hogue has long been recognized as one of the great American preachers and teachers, and as a pioneer in Christian television, hosting Richard Hogue Weekdays, the first nationally syndicated issues-oriented daily Christian program. He is an author of five books, including his most recent, Tongues: A Theological History of Christian Glosslalia.
With their writings, television ministries, evangelistic work and pastors, Pastors Richard and Marilyn Hogue have been at the forefront of the move of the Holy Spirit for the past four decades.
